Last night - took a leisurely stroll from Waterfront along the Coal Harbour seawall to Stanley Park arriving right on time to catch Mother Mother’s set as part of Vancouver’s 125th birthday and the Summer Live celebrations. Following some sweaty dancing and singing, hoofed it back to Gastown and Six Acres where I indulged in a Newcastle and what’s listed in their menu as the “house” fries. No more shoestring potatoes unfortunately, but that homemade ketchup is seriously the tops.
